Donna Maloy
Donna Maloy has been writing since she was 16. She has written everything from romance to Congressional testimony, even a textbook supplement in nuclear physics. Though a teacher of business communication at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, her real love is romance. “I’ve always been captivated most by romantic fantasy,” she says, so it’s not surprising that her current works in progress involve medieval curses and fantasy.
Early releases include a Harlequin Superromance, Amethyst Fire, which she wrote under the pseudonym Donna Saucier, and Black Velvet Secrets, a Zebra Gothic she published as Marie Savary. Donna also published a short work of fiction, “Elsewhere,” in a collection entitled Suddenly in 1999.
In addition to teaching at UH-CL, she also teaches novel writing classes at the College of the Mainland and makes her home with her husband on the Texas Gulf Coast.
