Joan Reeves
Joan Reeves is a woman with a great sense of humor and a slightly skewed view of the world who finds joy in the written word. Sharing the stories that spin around in her head and turning them into books is the ultimate high for her.Joan was a freelance writer for regional and national periodicals, including a stint as a stringer for the Houston Chronicle, before turning to novel writing. She has sold scripts, short stories, hundreds of articles and self-published books of interest to writers. To date, she has published seven novels and one novella.
Joan is a popular speaker at writers’ clubs and conferences, and when time permits, she teaches novel writing.
On a personal note, she has a husband who thinks she hung the moon, four children who think they are adults, and a dog who thinks she is a person–all the ingredients for a life warmed by laughter. She thinks that love is the greatest of all the riches and that laughter smooths the rough edges of life.
